Detoxification is the process of removing toxic substances from the body. Although there are many different ways of detoxification, the most popular method of detoxification is by taking a detox diet plan. This way of detoxification is convenient and easy to begin with.

During a detoxification diet, one usually stops taking in his or her usual diet and survives solely on a drink or certain foods. The detox diet plan is usually well designed to provide our body with sufficient nutrients and minerals to continue with our daily operation.

Maple syrup is usually part of a detox drink. The syrup contains good amounts of zinc, enzymes and antioxidants.
Water
Water will never be left out of detox diet plans. Due to its natural purity and body cleansing capability, most diet plans will advise you to drink loads of water. Water is the main solution responsible for flushing out toxins from our body.
Fruits and vegetables
Fruits and vegetables are high in minerals, vitamins, fibers and nutrients. An apple a day keeps the doctor away. Apples are popular fruit choices for detox diet plans as they improve bowel movement. This brings about better elimination of toxic wastes.
Here’s a detox diet sample diet plan which includes the main ingredients that i have introduced previously. During the diet, you will abstain from all food with exception of those that are included above. In the morning, take a cup of water mixed with lemon juice and some maple syrup. During the day, take 5-6 meals consisting of fruits and vegetables that you prefer. Remember to keep the fruits and vegetables additive and preservative free. Lastly, remember to take 6-8 glasses of water during the day to flush out your toxins.
